With the weekend upon us, let's take a look back at some of the biggest deals and rumored moves around MLS from the last few days.

Minnesota United star Hassani Dotson has reportedly requested a move away from the club.
In a statement provided to MLS insider Tom Bogert, Dotson's camp said: "After over 1 year and 2 months of back and forth with broken promises made by the club in multiple occasions, Hassani Dotson has formally requested to be traded from Minnesota United."
The 27-year-old has been a key component of the club since their early days in MLS, bagging 30 goal contributions in 141 matches.

New York Red Bulls forward Dante Vanzeir has completed a move to Gent, in his come country of Belgium.
The 26-year-old departs for a reported fee of $3 million, opening a Designated Player roster slot for RBNY in the process.
The New Jersey club signed veteran forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting earlier in the transfer window.

The Whitecaps have wrapped up the signing of Canada international Jayden Nelson Norwegian club Rosenborg.
The 22-year-old winger had eight goals and eight assists 44 matches with Rosenborg, and will sign a three-year contract with the Whitecaps.
"We are very familiar with Jayden’s qualities, as he was always a threat when we played him," said Vancouver sporting director Axel Schuster.
"He is a young and dynamic attacking player with a mix of experience, as well as a potential for growth.

According to MLS insider Tom Bogert, FC Cincinnati are in 'advanced talks' to sign Paraguayan defender Gilberto Flores from Libertad.
The 21-year-old has four caps for his nation, and made 25 appearances for Libertad across the 2024 campaign.

The aforementioned Flores is not the only potential addition to the Cincinnati backline.
The Ohio club are reportedly 'finalizing' a deal to sign Middlesbrough wingback Lukas Engel.
The Dane has made 53 appearances for the Championship club since signing in 2023.

The Portland Timbers have reportedly 'agreed a deal' to sign Jimer Fory from Colombian side Independiente Medellin.
Despite being 22-years-old, the defender has made 128 senior appearances and has won two Colombian league titles.
The Timbers have made big moves so far this winter, signing Joao Ortiz and Kevin Kelsy to add to their ever-growing South American ranks.

The Fire's rebuild under former USMNT boss Gregg Berhalter is continuing to take shape, and the midwest club have reportedly signed Cádiz midfielder Rominigue Kouame on loan.
The 28-year-old Mali international has made 13 appearances in the Spanish second division this season, providing one assist from his defensive midfield role.
