Ruben Amorim has provided the latest Manchester United team news ahead of their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Tottenham.
The Red Devils have enjoyed plenty of success in the domestic cups in recent years, and such competitions could provide meaning to the club's 2024/25 campaign.
Silverware in year one of Ruben Amorim's project certainly wouldn't do the Portuguese coach no harm, but Erik ten Hag's reign in Manchester depicted that the claiming of silverware is not the be all and end all.
United head into Thursday's cup tie off the back of a dramatic Manchester Derby win, and the Red Devils are certainly faring better than their opponents on the injury front.

Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro and Victor Lindelof have all returned to the fold in recent weeks, and Jonny Evans has also been available for selection. The veteran defender was back on the training field last week, but he wasn't included in the matchday squads against Viktoria Plzen and Man City.
Evans could make the trip to north London on Thursday, but Amorim could turn to youth to fill up the final couple of spots on his bench.
Luke Shaw suffered another setback at the end of November, with the left-back bothered by a hamstring injury after struggling through a calf complaint for much of 2024. We likely won't see the England international until the new year.
Outside of one sequence which saw Jeremy Doku put him on his backside, Noussair Mazraoui impressed at the weekend but was substituted 78 minutes into the game. The Moroccan is dealing with an injury, and Amorim has confirmed he'll be assessed ahead of Thursday's cup tie.

Mason Mount has an admirer in Amorim, and the Englishman was included in the Manchester Derby XI. However, Mount lasted barely ten minutes before he sat down on the Etihad turf and was replaced by Kobbie Mainoo.
The severity of his latest setback has not yet been confirmed, but Amorim bluntly stated in his pre-match press conference that Mount is "not available".

United have no injuries in attack, but Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were both left out of Sunday's matchday squad. The boss suggested that a myriad of factors were at play when deciding. to omit the pair, and Rashford has since hinted that a move away from Manchester may be necessary.
However, Amorim has opened the door for swift returns: "They are training, so we will see," he said. "We have one more training [session], like I said in the press conference, they are our players. We are better with them.
"If they cope with training and the engagement with team-mates, they will be ready to play."
