Manchester United will welcome back Leny Yoro, Christian Eriksen and Manuel Ugarte for the game against Everton on Saturday.

All three missed the defeat to Manchester United with boss Ruben Amorim forced to name a youthful looking bench.

But Amorim is set to have more options when his side look to turn around their poor run of form against Everton.

“This week is better than last week because we didn’t lose players,” Amorim said ahead of the game.

“Christian [Eriksen], Manuel [Ugarte] and Lenny [Yoro] return.”

But the United boss remains without star man Amad, who looks set to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.

Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Toby Collyer and Altay Bayindir are also still recovering from injury and are not ready to return.

“Amad [Diallo] is a long time, Mason [Mount] and Luke [Shaw] continue to recover but I don’t have a date [for their return],” Amorim continued. “Toby [Collyer] is the closest, but not now. We have to adapt.

“Altay [Bayindir] and Tom are recovering. Again, we don’t have a date.”

United sit 15th, one place behind Everton going into the weekend’s game but Amorim insists there are reasons for him to feel encouraged.

“It’s more important in training, and what I am seeing in training is that they are improving and creating relationships,” he said. “We are bonding and understanding the way we want to play.

“Even the sound of the training is different – when we are making an exercise, you feel the sound. People are talking, asking for the ball and giving directions.

“You can feel it in the environment, we are changing. It’s important to use that in the game.

“In some games that you think are more difficult, you feel that we can play and create situations and that is a good thing.

“In this moment, when you watch the games, you feel that there is more problems than solutions. We are capable, but we have to be consistent.

“We are in a difficult situation in the Premier League and we have a lot of issues to solve in every game.”
