Marc Cucurella believes Enzo Maresca and his staff are very good and praised the Italian for how he prepares for matches.
Maresca replaced Mauricio Pochettino in the summer after guiding Leicester to the Championship title last season and signed a five year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have certainly taken a gamble given Maresca’s lack of experience, but Chelsea’s start to the season has shown that doesn’t appear to be a problem.
Chelsea currently sit third in the league and are just a point behind Manchester City in second place, with the Blues currently on course to qualify for the Champions Leauge.
Coming to Chelsea was a huge step up for Maresca, although he revealed he had no doubts about taking the job.
The 44-year-old deserves huge credit for how quickly he’s managed to instil a clear identity and style of play, two things that were lacking last season.

Cucurella has arguably been one of Chelsea’s best players under Maresca and the Spain international has become a mainstay at left back.
The 26-year-old put in another impressive performance in Saturday’s win against Leicester and the Chelsea fans chanted his name at full time, something he admitted was very special for him.
Cucurella has been speaking about Maresca and praised him for how he prepares for games and gives the players ideas how to play every weekend.
“He works really well and puts a lot of energy into it,” he told London World.
“He prepares the games very well, and I think he gives us ideas on how to play every weekend.

“We have things to do every weekend to surprise our rivals, I think. He and his staff are very good, and if we keep going this way, we have the talent. So we need to stay at this level.”
Both Cucurella and Maresca have impressed with their starts to the season and Chelsea will be hoping this level continues from both manager and player for the remainder of the campaign.
