Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly been offered to a number of clubs including Juventus but the Serie A giants want another player instead – Joshua Zirkzee.

Rashford’s time at United is looking like it’s truly over after he was left out of Ruben Amorim’s matchday squad for the fourth game in a row on Thursday evening.

After the final whistle against Wolves, Amorim was asked about Rashford’s continued absence and strongly suggested that the England international has yet to show enough to be brought back into selection.

Last week, Rashford spoke to journalist Henry Winter and revealed that he is prepared to part ways with the Red Devils in search of a fresh challenge.

United are prepared to sanction an exit but are aware suitors will not be forthcoming for a myriad of reasons including his hefty salary and declining performances over the past season-and-a-half.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus have been alerted to Rashford’s availability during the January transfer window but they’re more interested in Zirkzee, who joined the club from Bologna in the summer.

“Juventus are looking for a striker in view of the next winter market. Thiago Motta is asking for the Dutchman Joshua Zirkzee (born in 2001), who previously coached Bologna, who sold him to Manchester United for 42.5 million euros last summer.”

“The same English club has put another striker up for sale: Marcus Rashford (born in 1997), proposed to various teams including Juventus, as well as Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham.”

United want €50m for Rashford but are open to letting him leave on loan next month.

Juventus may consider this option but only if Ruben Amorim’s side cover at least half of his mega wages. The Turin-based outfit’s budget for Rashford’s loan in January is circa €3-4m.

Other forwards on United’s radar are Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain and Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli.

Meanwhile, United are showing interest in Victor Osimhen (currently on loan at Galatasaray), Dani Olmo (Barcelona) and Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting Lisbon).
