Several leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday forwarded heartfelt messages to the club.

This comes on a special day for all associated with the reigning Spanish champions.

Real Madrid, as a sporting institution, celebrated their 123rd anniversary on Thursday. Los Blancos were founded on March 6th, 1902.

Messages of congratulations and recognition have in turn come pouring in from across world football, a celebration of the most successful club outfit in the history of European competition.

Sergio Ramos is just one of a whole host of former Real Madrid stars to have taken to social media to wish the club well:

‘123 years of white legend, 123 years of greatness. Congratulations on this anniversary to all Real Madrid fans,’ the iconic defender wrote on ‘X’:

And as alluded to above, also quick to congratulate the capital giants were several current members of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, from Jude Bellingham, to Kylian Mbappé:
