Merveille Kanjinga joins Paris Saint-Germain | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the arrival of Merveille Kanjinga. The Congolese international striker joins the club until 30th June 2027.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Merveille Kanjinga made her professional debut with TP Mazembe in 2021. In her first season, she finished top scorer in the national league with 23 goals.

With the Congolese club, the new striker has won three DR Congo league and cup doubles (2022, 2023, 2024), two UNIFFAC tournaments (2022, 2024) and the CAF Champions League (2024).

On an individual level, Merveille Kanjinga was voted the league's best player in 2022 and 2024, as well as UNIFFAC's best player in 2022.

On the international stage, the new Parisienne has been capped six times by the Democratic Republic of Congo national team, scoring twice. In particular, she contributed to the Leopardess' historic qualification for the 2024 African Cup of Nations, marking the DRC's return to the competition after a 12-year absence.
