His first season at FC Bayern was crowned with his first Bundesliga title! Michael Olise, who joined the German record champions from Crystal Palace last summer, played a major part in the Reds' title win with outstanding performances. The winger also impressed across the board in April, the month that was crucial in deciding the championship. Bayern fans also appreciated this and chose Olise as their Player of the Month.

One goal, three assists

In April, the 23-year-old Frenchman played a major part in the three important Bundesliga wins at Augsburg (3-1), Heidenheim (4-0) and against Mainz 05 (3-0). Olise set up a goal in each of the three games, further consolidating his position as the league's best provider. Against Mainz, the winger also scored a remarkable goal when he darted inside from the right wing in what's becoming his trademark style and finished with his powerful left foot."

Olise Player of the Month for the third time

Olise received 22.4 per cent of the votes cast, edging out Thomas Müller (19.5%) and Eric Dier (11.8%). In his maiden season at FC Bayern, Olise impressed across the board, scoring 16 goals and providing 17 assists in 49 games. The April award was already the winger's third FC Bayern Player of the Month acolade, meaning he now joins Jamal Musiala at the top of the rankings.
