Milan close to Gimenez breakthrough but need to fix final details | OneFootball

Milan and Feyenoord are reportedly close to signing off on a deal for Mexico international Santiago Gimenez, but the Rossoneri still need to finalise the last remaining details with the Eredivisie outfit, according to reports on Friday evening.

Milan submitted a new and improved offer for the Feyenoord striker on Friday. Reports in Italy claim that the Rossoneri have put €32m on the table for the 23-year-old, which does not include bonuses.

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia and others, the two clubs are now discussing the final details relating to the bonuses and add-ons included in Milan’s offer.

It has previously been reported that Feyenoord have been seeking a total fee of €40m to sell Gimenez in January.

The Rossoneri already have an agreement in principle on personal terms with Gimenez according to reports earlier in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have also agreed a deal in principle to send summer signing Alvaro Morata to Galatasaray on loan, but the club first need to seal a deal for Gimenez before allowing the Spaniard to leave.

There are also ongoing talks over a potential loan move to Monza for Francesco Camarda, while reports on Friday claim that there is an agreement in principle between Milan and Tottenham over a potential deal for Fikayo Tomori.
