Since leaving Juventus in the summer Federico Chiesa has struggled for minutes, and for this reason, AC Milan are among the clubs looking to offer a way out.
The Italian winger has suffered in recent years through no fault of his own. After suffering an ACL injury, he has had to remodel himself, and this has taken time. Nevertheless, Liverpool looked to offer him a chance.
That chance has been rare, though. So far, he has not even played 90 minutes for the Reds, and there are no signs of this changing with Arne Slot’s front three playing exceptionally. For this reason, an exit seems increasingly likely.
Reports first suggested that he could leave on loan a few weeks ago, and this still seems to be the case with Milan News reporting that there is Serie A interest in him. Milan, alongside Roma and Inter, are all considering the player who would be ‘an ideal reinforcement’ in attack.
The Rossoneri like him a lot and see him as a ‘pure winger’ if not a ‘wide trequartista’ and given his role at Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri, he could even feature as the second striker like Alvaro Morata has. However, work must be done soon as Inter currently lead the race.
It is suggested that the Nerazzzurri are ‘the most concrete possibility’ and their interest could materialise shortly.
