Mo Salah says winning the Premier League title this season is “something I dream of” as Liverpool pulled clear at the top of the table.
Leicester City took the lead at Anfield on Boxing Day, but Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones and the Egyptian winger found the net to complete a comeback victory for the Reds.
“It is a good result they were very tough in the first half and in the second half the way they prepared themselves they were very good,” Salah told Prime Sport.
“We managed to score three goals and it was a great result.
Salah has now scored 16 goals in the Premier League this season, but his latest marked a special milestone as it was his 100th home goal in the competition.
“Something I am very proud of,” he said. “We keep working hard and hopefully I can go a bit further.”
While the 32-year-old continues to pile up personal records, his main aim this season is to win the Premier League title for a second time since joining Liverpool. The club are seven points clear of second-placed Chelsea with a game in hand.
“The most important thing is the team winning – hopefully we win the Premier League,” said Salah.
“It is great, but we focus on each game and hopefully we carry on like that. It feels different, but the most important thing is we need to stay humble.
“This one is very special, hopefully we win the Premier League and for this club it is something I dream of.”
