West Ham are monitoring Celtic striker Daizen Maeda, but at this stage he is not considered a priority.

The Japanese international has been reported for a number of weeks to be a top target for Graham Potter this summer, as West Ham get set for a significant overhaul of the squad following a difficult season.

However, despite the reports linking the striker with a potential move to east London, its understood that at this stage Maeda is behind others for that particular position, as the club narrow down on targets for the summer transfer window.

Maeda has been a key player for Celtic this season, netting 33 goals to help them clinch the Scottish Premiership title.

It’s also been confirmed that Celtic striker Daniel Cummings will be officially confirmed as a West Ham player this summer, having signed his pre-contract agreement earlier this year. Cummings was in attendance for the final home game of the season on Sunday.
