Fiorentina have signed PSG midfielder Cher Ndour (20), both clubs have announced. The Italian youth international spent the first half of the 2024-2025 campaign on loan at Besiktas after joining PSG in July 2023 from Benfica. Ndour never really settled at PSG. He was sent on loan already in January 2024 to SC Braga. The midfielder only featured four times with Les Parisiens. Ndour was loaned out to Besiktas at the beginning of the season. He featured 22 times for the Istanbul-based team, logging one goal and two assists.

PSG decided to cut Ndour’s loan short and sell the midfielder altogether to free up a loan spot. Les Parisiens have already maxed out the quota of six senior players they could send on loan with Renato Sanches (Benfica), Milan Skriniar (Fenerbahçe), Carlos Soler (West Ham), Randal Kolo Muani (Juventus), Nordi Mukiele (Bayer Leverkusen) and Ndour.

Ndour’s exit will allow PSG to loan Marco Asensio to Aston Villa. Fiorentina reportedly agreed to a €10m transfer fee with PSG over Ndour, according to Le Parisien.
