It ended Newcastle 3 Aston Villa 0.
Eddie Howe’s side making it four wins in a row.
Newcastle United having moved into the Carabao Cup semi-finals, now into the Premier League top five.
An excellent performance once again, that superb opening goal inspired by the United midfield trio and brilliantly finished by Anthony Gordon, all within 90 seconds of the kick-off.
Interesting to see this official Match Cam footage released by the club.
Showing behind the scenes stuff, as well as excellent match action from an alternative angle, down at pitch level.
Well worth watching the whole thing, especially the Newcastle United goals and celebrations, plus so many other near things. Villa very lucky to get away with ‘only’ a three goal defeat.
