Clearer indications about Antonio Conte’s future may have emerged following a reported comment from one of his most trusted collaborators, Gabriele Oriali.
The pair have worked together at Inter, with the Italian national team, and now at Napoli, where Oriali serves as first-team technical manager. However, Conte’s future at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona beyond this season remains uncertain.
According to La Verità, Oriali recently confided to friends in Milan and Coverciano: “This time, I can’t go where he’s going.”
Given his deep-rooted ties to Inter—having come through their youth ranks before playing 13 seasons for the first team—the remark has only fueled speculation that Conte could be heading to one of Inter’s fiercest rivals.

Both Juventus and Milan are reportedly considering Conte as a coaching option should he leave Napoli, but the idea of Oriali following him to either the Allianz Stadium or to the Rossoneri would be unthinkable for many, especially among the Nerazzurri faithful.
