Strahinja Pavlovic has been linked with several moves away from AC Milan in this mercato, and Atalanta are not giving up with their requests.

Türkiye seemed a likely destination for the Serbian initially with Galatasaray and Feyenoord eyeing the defender on loan and permanent deals. However, the defender turned down both opportunities, wishing to continue with Milan.

However, the club are clearly not against the idea of a deal to part ways, and a track may have been revived.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Atalanta requested information about the centre back yesterday, after the news the Giorgio Scalvini will spend another long period sidelined. However, things went quiet quickly due to Tottenham’s interest in Fikayo Tomori.

Obviously, a move for the Englishman is now all but off the table, with the former Chelsea defender rejecting the move back to London, and as a result, perhaps the path to Pavlovic could be relit with Atalanta.

The Rossoneri have made it clear that they are not against parting ways with a defender, and with Tomori’s exit no longer on the cards, Pavlovic could be offered another chance to depart. Whether the prospect of joining Atalanta will be enough, though, remains to be seen.
