Pellegrini hoping to be confirmed in Roma’s starting XI vs Bologna

A week after the win in the Derby della Capitale, Roma will seek their second consecutive victory against Bologna.

One of the main questions leading up to the match Sunday is whether Lorenzo Pellegrini will be used from the start once more.

The Giallorossi captain – after being benched throughout most of Ranieri’s tenure so far – was given the chance to feature from the start in the derby, scoring the opening goal for his side.

Now, Corriere dello Sport reports that Pellegrini is hoping to have his place in Roma’s line-up confirmed against Bologna.

There is a good chance that Ranieri will field the same formation as seen against Lazio, a 3-5-2 where the midfield is led by Paredes, Kone and Pellegrini, while the attack features Dybala and Dovbyk.
