Today’s Serie A clash between Fiorentina and Inter Milan was interrupted by a shock medical emergency to midfielder Edoardo Bove.
The 22-year-old collapsed on the pitch just after the fifteen-minute mark.

Both sets of players were visibly distraught after the incident.
Bove was taken to hospital to receive treatment. Reports indicate that he has regained consciousness.
The incident cause the Serie A match to be postponed. The mood at the Stadio Artemio Franchi was solemn, but the news about Bove’s condition has been encouraging.
Inter striker Marcus Thuram gave a message of support to Bove on his Instagram account. He wrote, “Forza Edoardo. We’re all with you.”
