A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was left battered and bruised during the club’s most recent outing.

Real Madrid were of course back in action on Sunday, welcoming Rayo Vallecano to the Santiago Bernabéu for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a 2-1 scoreline, to keep the club’s title hopes very much alive.

Amongst the goals on the evening was Vinícius Jr, who notched the game’s decisive effort courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance.

As alluded to above, though, the Brazilian did not have it all his own way on Sunday.

This comes with images of a painful-looking blow to have been suffered by Vinícius during the clash having since come to the fore online.
