We take a look at some players that West Brom could sell for big money in the future

It's been an excellent start to the season for West Brom, and despite it being early days, they look like genuine promotion contenders under Carlos Corberan.

The Baggies have kicked on from their play-off semi-final defeat last season, and with the Championship table looking more open than it did last year, there's every chance that they could be in contention to return to the Premier League for the first time since 2021.

Of course, there are plenty of things that could change between now and then, and their impressive form won't have gone unnoticed with clubs potentially keeping tabs on their star players, or perhaps even Corberan himself.

There are certain players that West Brom will be keen to retain for years to come, such is their talent, but as we all know, the pecking order in football means that if suitable offers come in, the Baggies could be forced to sell to a bigger club.

With that in mind, here are the two West Brom players who could depart for big money in the future.

Tom Fellows

Last season saw 21-year-old Tom Fellows make his first-team breakthrough, and after impressing for the Baggies as he helped them reach the play-offs, he's taken his game to the next level in the early weeks of the new campaign.

He's been a mainstay in Corberan's Championship starting XI so far this season and has registered a number of assists, becoming a real key player for the club.

The 21-year-old recently made his debut for England's U21 side, scoring in a 4-1 win over their Austrian counterparts, and he couldn't have started the season much better, for both club and country.

As a talented youngster who has proved himself at Championship level, it feels like West Brom will have a lot of interest in his signature in the coming years, and if they chose to sell him you'd have thought they'd make big money.

Fellows did indeed attract transfer interest in the summer, with a number of Premier League clubs keen to add him to their squads.

The likes of Southampton, Everton and Ipswich Town were all linked with him, but a move didn't materialise, and he remains at The Hawthorns for the time being.

However, you feel that if he continues on this current trajectory, the Baggies could be set for a hefty transfer fee should they choose to sell him.

Josh Maja

Striker Josh Maja joined the Baggies last summer and had a less than convincing first season at The Hawthorns where he scored just once in 12 appearances, but he has started the new campaign like a man possessed.

The 25-year-old was seen as the next big thing after breaking onto the scene with Sunderland, but spells with the likes of Stoke City and Fulham proved less fruitful, and there were question marks over whether Maja would fulfill his potential.

However, in the early weeks of this season, Maja has performed excellently, and he's one of the main reasons why West Brom have started the season so well.

It would almost be impossible for Maja to continue his impressive goalscoring rate, and he'd smash records if he did, but if he continues to find the back of the net on a regular basis, then he's almost certain to attract transfer interest.

After being around for a while, it's easy to forget that Maja is only 25, and he'd still be a very attractive option for clubs looking to add a proven goalscorer to their ranks.

West Brom supporters will be delighted with the way he's started the season, and if it continues they could well make big money from a potential sale.
