Plymouth, meanwhile, are bottom of the division, but scrapping hard to maintain their second tier status. Miron Muslic's team won 3-1 against Coventry City in their last clash to fuel hopes they can pull off a 'Great Escape'.

The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 3-3 draw.

The Fan Zone

Martin Ryan (@PNEFC_Stats): Just one win in the last 13 for Preston as they host Plymouth in the last home game of the season.

That run and wins for the majority of the teams below them on Easter Monday has dragged Preston into a scramble to avoid a last day relegation shoot out.

A defeat for Luton in the early kick off would effectively make Preston safe before kick off, any other result could result in it being a nervy afternoon at Deepdale.

Ali McCann, Brad Potts, Jack Whatmough, Freddie Woodman remain out injured. Mads Frokjaer will also miss out. Ryan Ledson and Sam Greenwood may be available again.

Prediction: 1-0

Tom Sleeman : Plymouth Argyle have a triple boost ahead of their all-important trip to Preston as they look to keep their Championship survival hopes alive.

Defensive duo Maksym Talivierov and Joe Edwards return from injury and suspension respectively. Midfielder Jordan Houghton also returns from the Home Park treatment room after missing last weekend's impressive 3-1 win over Play-Off hopefuls Coventry City.

Ultimately Miron Muslic's side will be reliant on other results as fellow strugglers Cardiff, Luton and Derby face West Brom, Coventry and Hull City respectively.

Prediction: 1-2
