Ranieri lauds Soulé’s progress: “He knows what I want.” | OneFootball

Roma manager Claudio Ranieri was asked about Matias Soulé’s evolution since his appointment.

In his post-match press conference at full-time of Roma’s win over Inter, Ranieri said of Soulé, “He understood what I always asked him. And now he knows what I want from him.”

“Everyone must know that something important must happen when he has the ball. He must be practical and quick on his feet, quick with his mind.”

“I always tell him that he has to try and isolate his opponent, and he must do it quickly and now he is starting to understand. He is a player who never his own next move.”

“He is starting to realize that this is how he can do well in this league. He must continue to believe that he can improve what he already has that is good, which is a lot. There’s a lot of potential in him.”
