Claudio Ranieri spoke with optimism about Roma’s chances in competing for a Top 4 finish and a run in the Europa League.
After the team’s 2-1 win over Como, the veteran technician addressed the media in his post-match presser.
“We have to build our identity, regardless of our opponents and other teams,” he commented.
“I’ve always said: I’m not used to doing calculations, I’m used to working and trying to get the most out of myself. And if I want the most out of myself, I also demand it from others.”
“I didn’t make tables or predictions. I simply said what I’m telling you now: we are in a very competitive group and we will fight until the end.”
“We have to continue with all our strength, because I am convinced of one thing: if we manage to keep up with the others both in the league and in Europe, we will be able to play our chances in the decisive matches.”
“Now we see important names and famous teams, but initially they were also there fighting, just like us.”
“So, let’s continue to work with intensity and seriousness during training. These points are fundamental and could prove decisive in the final stages of the season.”
