Real Madrid fans defend one player during Sevilla clash: ‘We can’t lose him’ | OneFootball

Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday moved to reiterate their appreciation for the talents of one member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

The player in question? Luka Modrić.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, on the domestic front.

In the club’s penultimate outing of the La Liga campaign, Los Blancos have made the trip to Andalusia, for a meeting with Sevilla.

With their title chances now officially over for the term, Real, somewhat unsurprisingly, have looked a touch flat at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán thus far.

Despite hosts Sevilla having been reduced to 10 men inside the opening quarter of an hour, Ancelotti’s troops have failed to take advantage, toiling in their efforts to take control of the clash.

And yet, in the midst of as much, the club’s supporters have felt it only right to single one player out for deserved praise.

The only real source of consistent quality on the part of Real in Seville, calls have begun to mount once more for veteran midfielder Luka Modrić’s contract to be renewed.
