Real Madrid have ‘analysed’ transfer swoop for Liverpool star | OneFootball

The name of a leading member of the midfield ranks at Premier League champions-in-waiting Liverpool has emerged as a notable one in the boardroom at Real Madrid of late.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards Alexis Mac Allister as the player in question.

Argentine international Mac Allister, for his part, is in the midst of a stellar campaign.

From his berth in the middle of the park, the former Brighton standout has played a starring role in Liverpool’s ongoing push for the Premier League title.

All told, Mac Allister has racked up 45 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with six goals and five assists along the way.

And such excellence, evidently, has not gone unnoticed on the part of those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Real Madrid.

As per a report from Marca, amid ongoing discussions surrounding potential reinforcements to the club’s first-team ranks:

‘In the Whites’ offices, the possibility of signing the Liverpool midfielder has been considered and analysed.’

It remains to be seen if a deal would be at all realistic, however, with the Anfield brass likely to demand a massive sum to even enter into negotiations surrounding a possible transfer for Mac Allister.
