According to Aguirre, the general sentiment within the Real Madrid dressing room is one of cautious optimism.

“When the match was over, they told me that Barça played very well, that they were a super team, especially in the first 60 minutes. Then Barça fell,” Aguirre disclosed, suggesting that Real Madrid had taken note of Barcelona’s tendency to drop off in the latter stages of matches.

“If we work hard, if we fight, if we hold out for the first 60 minutes, we’ll beat them because physically, Madrid is superior to Barça.
