Real Madrid star limps out of Real Sociedad clash with injury | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid were this evening dealt a potentially costly blow on the personnel front.

This comes after Dani Ceballos was forced out of Los Blancos’ Copa del Rey meeting with Real Sociedad with what appeared to be a knee injury.

Ceballos was for his part in from the off once more on Wednesday, as Real Madrid made the trip to Anoeta for a cup semi-final first-leg clash.

When all was said and done, Carlo Ancelotti’s visitors emerged on the right side of the result, courtesy of a solitary Endrick strike.

Teammate Ceballos, however, was unable to finish out the fixture.

After clashing knees with Takefusa Kubo in injury-time in San Sebastian, the former Arsenal man immediately went to ground in evident distress.

Tended to by the Real Madrid medical team, Ceballos then hobbled off, looking visibly upset as he did so.

It not remains to be seen if the in-form midfielder is set for an incoming spell on the sidelines as a result.
