Real Madrid star misses training before Atlético | OneFootball

A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has emerged as a potential doubt to feature in the club’s next outing.

That’s according to Blancos insider Melchor Ruiz of COPE, who points towards Brahim Díaz as the player in question.

Real Madrid, of course, are primed to return to action on Wednesday evening, when they make the short trip across Spain’s capital for a Champions League showdown with city rivals Atlético Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, in turn, have spent recent days going through their final preparations for a potentially season-defining outing.

As alluded to above, though, amid as much, Brahim Díaz, on Monday, was forced to sit out.

As per the aforementioned Melchor Ruiz, the Moroccan international is suffering with a bout of illness, unable to train as a result.

It now remains to be seen if Brahim recovers in time to play his part in the derby.
