For the first time in a while, Milan fans in the stadium and those watching at home had a relaxed evening, as they watched their team comfortably beat Empoli at Stadio San Siro on Saturday.

Reijnders was once again the Man of the Match, scoring two excellent goals (44′, 69′) past Devis Vásquez, which followed Álvaro Morata’s opener (19′).

“The goal is important. But we haven’t done anything yet, we have to keep pushing,” the Dutchman told DAZN.

Milan is back in the race for a Champions League spot. Is that on your mind?“Of course, we think about it. We want to fight for the title, and the position we’re in is not where we wanted to be. We’ll keep fighting to improve our standing.”
