After winning their first two games under Habib Beye, Stade Rennais were met with their first setback last weekend when they were defeated 2-0 by Lille OSC. This evening Rennes will look to return to winning ways under the new head coach when they take on fellow strugglers Stade de Reims.

Beye will have to account for the loss of Christopher Wooh who had been his first-choice centre-back in the middle of his back three. The Cameroonian international is suspended for this match after he was sent off against Lille. This will likely mean Hans Hateboer will return to the side.

An injury to winter recruit Brice Samba means that Steve Mandanda will be back between the sticks. In midfield, Jordan James and Seko Fofana will probably be picked over Ismaël Koné and Djaoui Cissé. Up front, Arnaud Kalimuendo could shift wide with the 17-year-old Mohamed Kader Meïté provided a start as the number nine.
