Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has reportedly emerged as an option to replace Claudio Ranieri at Roma, with a contract between the two coaches already established.
Atalanta coach Gasperini will leave Bergamo in the summer or at the end of his contract in 2026, as the Italian tactician revealed on Saturday that he would not sign a further contract extension with La Dea.
According to the latest TMW report, the experienced Italian coach, a 2024 Europa League winner with Atalanta, has emerged as one of the primary options to take over at Roma next season.

The report claims that Roma boss Ranieri has already contacted his colleague at Atalanta to sound out his availability for the summer.
Ranieri returned for his third stint at Roma in November, but he’ll quit his role at the end of the season and will have an input in choosing his successor at the Stadio Olimpico.
