Rúben Amorim’s choice to leave Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of Manchester United’s squad for last Sunday’s derby has fueled speculation about Rashford’s future at the club.
Despite their absence, United secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for City with a first-half heads-up, but Bruno Fernandes equalized with an 88th-minute penalty.
Just two minutes later, Amad Diallo sealed the win, rounding Éderson with ease. Rashford’s omission has only heightened rumors about the forward’s potential departure from United as questions linger about his next move.

The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell reports that Paris Saint-Germain have no interest in Rashford. Moreover, Sky Sports’ Melissa Reddy reports that there are no clubs currently interested in Marcus Rashford due to his off-pitch behavior, form, and massive salary.
TEAMtalk reported last Sunday that Manchester United have decided to sell Rashford during the January transfer window. The report adds that PSG are admirers of the England international, and with United now open to letting him go, other potential suitors could also enter the mix.
Meanwhile, Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail suggests Manchester United might be open to offers in the region of £40 million for the forward.
