Matteo Moretto doesn’t confirm Manchester City’s interest in Italy talent Samuele Ricci but suggests that Serie A clubs keep a close eye on the Torino star.

Premier League giants Manchester City have been linked with Italy and Torino talent Ricci, but Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto does not confirm their interest in the 23-year-old.

Moretto wrote in his latest Daily Briefing column that some top clubs, mainly from Serie A, have already shown interest in the talented Regista, who is under contract with the Granata until June 2026.

Ricci made his senior Italy debut in 2022, a few months after joining Torino from Empoli on an initial loan deal.

The Italian midfielder recently impressed in an Azzurri shirt during the September break, starting in games against France and Israel, both of which the Azzurri won.

Tuttosport reported earlier in September that Torino had already scheduled talks to extend Ricci’s contract beyond 2026.

Ricci has four goals and six assists in 99 Serie A appearances.
