Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has on Tuesday etched his name ever further into the history books of European football.

As much comes owing to his exploits in Barcelona’s clash with Stade Brestois.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course currently locked in action on the continent, having welcomed Ligue 1 outfit Brest to Catalunya’s capital.

And, as things stand, it is a goal on the part of the aforementioned Robert Lewandowski which separates the two sides when it comes to the scoreline.

After the Pole was felled inside the visitors’ penalty area, he dusted himself down to dispatch the ensuing spot-kick in typically cool fashion.

And, in the process, Lewandowski joined an altogether exclusive club.

The veteran frontman has now racked up 100 Champions League goals, joining the legendary duo of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as just the 3rd player to hit the century mark in Europe’s premiere club competition.
