Just after an impressive run over Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur couldn’t get their ship sailing. They faced table-toppers Liverpool and got dismantled completely. Arne Slot’s side netted six goals to them while taking three on his own net.
Defence
Fraser Forster had a disastrous game against Liverpool but he is likely to keep his spot amid the ankle injury to regular goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. Right-back Pedro Porro wasn’t upto the mark as well but he remains the primary choice in the lineup.
As multiple injuries have dented defensive choices, Radu Dragușin and Archie Gray once again form the heart of the defence. The pair will look to regain their lost confidence this week. However, Destiny Udogie is ready to walk back into the XI at the cost of Djed Spence.

Midfield
Big boost for Tottenham Hotspur as Rodrigo Bentancur is available again after having served a seven-match ban. He will replace Pape Matar Sarr in the middle of the park and will have the comapny of Yves Bissouma.
Attack
Dejan Kulusevski continues to operate on the right wing with James Maddison playing in the central areas. Son Heung-min struggled in the previous game and will be hopeful of making an impactful this time.
Dominic Solanke remains the all-out striker in the starting lineup.
Guglielmo Vicario (ankle), Cristian Romero (thigh), Micky van de Ven (hamstring), Mikey Moore (illness), Wilson Odobert (hamstring), Richarlison (thigh) and Ben Davies (thigh) are still sidelined.
