Real Madrid are set to lock horns against Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu in match day 15 of La Liga.
Eduardo Camavinga is absent from this fixture but Rodrygo makes a return to the squad and a few youngsters have also received a call up.
Here is how Real Madrid can lineup against Getafe.
GK: Thibaut Courtois
Has looked in good form since his return. Tried his best against Liverpool but was unable to prevent the loss. Would be eager to keep his 6th clean sheet of the season.
This is a game where Vazquez can enjoy a good time. Despite his shortcomings, the Spaniard’s presence can offer depth and can have a good game against a side that is more focused on defence than on offence.
The youngster’s importance at the club is now starting to show, as he put on an impressive display in a stern Liverpool test. Got a yellow card, but that did not stop him from making tackles or interceptions. A third consecutive start awaits him.
CB: Antonio Rüdiger
In an ideal world, the German may have been rested but there is nothing ideal at Real Madrid currently hence, he will have to start this match. He would hope that he does not have much work to do today and have a rather easy going.
He has proven this season that he can be the one who steps up. The 25-year old has been an upgrade over Mendy despite his questionable defensive abilities but against Liverpool, he did fairly well to keep Mo Salah quiet during the time he was on.
The Turk is in line to make a third consecutive start and continue his impressive displays with the club. The Liverpool match would hopefully just be a blip in his rise at Madrid and would be eager to put that game behind him and show everyone what he is capable of.
CM: Fede Valverde
With Vazquez returning as a right-back, Fede will shift back to his usual position. Arguably the most vital player in the squad is expected to make yet another start.
CM: Dani Ceballos
Carlo Ancelotti would be delighted with Ceballos’ recent performances and now with Camavinga being out for 2-3 weeks and Modric’s age, the Spaniard will get more game time hereon and would be eager to make the most of it.
LM: Jude Bellingham
The 21 year old “veteran” knows a thing or two of playing against Getafe since he scored an injury time winner against the same opponents last season. His importance has just grown since then and the Bernabeu faithful will be looking forward to an eye catching performance.
The club and the players believe in the Frenchman to turn it around and he is surely capable of doing so. The Bernabeu crowd have not lost their cool just yet and Mbappe would hope it stays that way.
Will be making a start directly, having last played against Osasuna. His presence will be a boost and against an expected low-block being employed by Getafe, the Brazilian can be the trump card.
