Roma 1-3 Milan Primavera: Captain Bakoune seals win against league leaders

Milan’s Primavera side clinched three points, just like the first team, earlier today as they scored three goals in the second half against league leaders Roma.
Federico Guidi’s boys headed into the clash with confidence after the draw against Inter last time out. However, they had to do without the likes of Maximilian Ibrahimovic, Victor Eletu and Ernesto Perin, who for different reasons couldn’t make it.
It didn’t matter too much, though, as the Primavera found their stride immediately and came close to a goal already in the first half. However, it ended 0-0 and the Rossoneri had to wait until the 66th minute for the opener, when Vincenzo Perrucci slotted home a rebound from Adam Bakoune.
Ten minutes later, Roma found a way back into the game through Alessandro Romano who converted a wonderful free-kick. Fortunately, the Rossoneri pushed on immediately after and had a few chances before Demirel Hodzic restored the lead, assisted by the first goalscorer Perrucci.
Hodzic continued the theme in the 96th minute as he put Bakoune through on goal on a counter-attack. The captain made no mistakes and sealed the deal for Milan, who can be very happy with how they achieved the 3-1 win against the league leaders.
