Roma to renew contact with Gasperini next week | OneFootball

Roma are not letting go of Gian Piero Gasperini.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, the capital club are still tracking the Atalanta coach with whom they had preliminary talks in the winter months to inquire about his availability to become Claudio Ranieri’s successor.

At the time, Gasperini gave his full availability to Roma.

Now, with Dan Friedkin back in the Italian capital, the Giallorossi are expected to accelerate talks with Gasperini.

The newspaper claims that Roma will renew contact with Gasperini’s entourage after the two teams face each other on Monday night.

Gasperini  did not set as a condition the participation in a European cup, which in January/February for Roma seemed impossible. This is an element that Friedkin liked a lot.
