Sacked Milan coach Paulo Fonseca could be back on another bench within weeks of his dismissal, as Olympique Lyonnais are interested.
The Portuguese tactician was fired on December 30, 2024, just five months since taking on the San Siro role.
He had overseen 24 matches, ending with 12 victories, six draws and six defeats between Serie A, the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

Replaced by Sergio Conceicao, Fonseca might not be out of work for long, because multiple sources in France including L’Equipe report this evening that he is being lined up to take over at Olympique Lyonnais.
The rumours were already circulating and now intensify after the Ligue 1 side sacked coach Pierre Sage with immediate effect.
It would be a return to France for the coach, who already did well in Lille from 2022 to 2024, before he was called up by Milan.
The 51-year-old had 45 wins, 26 draws and 19 defeats on the LOSC bench, reaching the Conference League quarter-finals.
He had already been linked with a potential new position at Everton earlier this month.
