Serie A: Watch chaotic ending to Lazio-Fiorentina | OneFootball

Fiorentina recorded a famous victory against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night in what was one of the greatest endings to a football match.

Goals from Yacine Adli and Lucas Beltran put La Viola 2-0 up after 17 minutes before the former was sent off just after the hour mark, which made for an incredible ending.

With six minutes of added time, Adam Marušić headed Lazio to within one in the second minute of stoppage time after David de Gea, despite his best efforts, couldn’t prevent the ball from crossing the line. The Montenegrin then forced De Gea into an incredible save in the fifth minute of added time.

The ball would then bounce to Pedro, just outside the penalty area, who smashed the ball through a crowded penalty area before the ball cannoned back off the post and rolled across the line to the dismay of Lazio fans that stayed.

With that win, Fiorentina have now moved to within three points of Lazio.
