According to a report from L’Équipe, there have been signs of a thaw in tensions between Luis Enrique and Ousmane Dembélé (27) at Paris Saint-Germain following the 3-1 victory over Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday evening.
The relationship between the two has been under the microscope this season following an argument after the victory against Stade Rennais (3-1) on the 27th of September. The very next game, Dembélé was left out of the Champions League squad that travelled to face Arsenal.
Relations appeared to worsen when Dembélé was sent off during the 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Luis Enrique was reported to have been furious believing that the infraction had cost the club a chance to turn around the game.
In the two league matches that followed the sending-off, Dembélé was left on the bench. PSG struggled to two draws and the France international was reinstated and allowed to play in his preferred position at the centre of the attack.
L’Équipe writes that the two are attempting to put their troubles behind them and pull in the same direction.
