The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Stoke City on Boxing Day have been announced, with Stephen Martin set to take charge at the bet365 Stadium.

Starting out as a referee back in 2003, the fixture will be the 500th match Martin has featured in in his career to date, 241 of which have been in the Sky Bet Championship.

Having refereed across all three divisions so far this term and in the FA Cup, the Staffordshire-based official oversaw Wycombe and Bolton’s goalless draw last time out in League One.

The Whites have a scintillating record when Martin has been in the middle, winning eight of their ten matches, whilst drawing the other two.

His only match this term involving Daniel Farke’s side came in the 1-1 draw against Norwich City at Carrow Road in October.

Stoke, meanwhile, have only ever been officiated twice by Martin, falling to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Middlesbrough most recently.
