Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven walked out of the King Power Stadium last night, according to The Athletic journalist Andy Mitten.
The teenage sensation was stretchered off in the 51st minute in the 3-0 victory over the Foxes as his first Premier League start ended abruptly, and there were fears he could be out for a while.
However, Man United appear to have been handed a boost as Heaven was walking last night despite wearing a foot brace.
Manager Ruben Amorim revealed after the game that the 18-year-old will undergo tests this week, and he is eager for him to make a swift return to action.
Man United are already without Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro, and losing Heaven is the last thing they want heading into a crucial part of the season.
The former Arsenal man has played just four games for the Old Trafford club since joining in January, but he is starting to look like the real deal.
He made his league debut against his old side last weekend and started against Real Sociedad on Thursday, where he produced an impressive performance.
Man United resume action with a trip to Nottingham Forest on April 1, before taking on Manchester City five days later at Old Trafford.
They subsequently travel to France to play Lyon in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, and it will be crucial for them to have Heaven and other injured players available for those key games.
