Brentford take on Ipswich Town at Portman Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off BST).

The match will not be broadcast live in the UK.

If you are making the trip to Suffolk, here is everything you need to know to ensure you are ready for your visit.

Transport – Save 20 per cent on your journey to Ipswich with Trainline

The club has partnered with Trainline to give you discounted rail travel on matchday.

Trainline want to make it even easier to travel green. As part of their I Came By Train campaign to help fight climate change, you can save 20 per cent on your journey when you book in advance with Trainline.

After you purchase your match ticket, you will be sent an email with your unique discount code within one to two working days. Each ticket holder will receive an email with their unique discount code. You can redeem your discount code when purchasing your rail ticket.

Travelling by train

Direct trains from London to Ipswich station run every 30 minutes from London Liverpool Street station, taking between one hour and 90 minutes depending on which service you take.

Please use the National Rail journey planner to check for updates to the timetable throughout the day.

The last direct train back to Liverpool Street leaves Ipswich station at 10.41pm and takes just over one hour. Return tickets to London are liable to sell out. We recommend you use Trainline to book your ticket as soon as possible.

Local travel to the ground

Portman Road is a 10-minute walk from Ipswich station. Follow signs to the stadium as you leave the station.

By car

From west London, take the M25 around the city and exit at the A12 which will take you to Ipswich.

The road immediately behind the Cobbold stand is permanently blocked at both ends. The road behind the Sir Bobby Robson stand is closed approximately 90 minutes before the game.

There is no official stadium car park, however there is a car park next to the away section (postcode IP1 2BP).

Parking costs £15 and cash or card is accepted. Expect delays exiting the car park after full-time. Other car parks can be found in the town centre.

The streets surrounding the stadium have parking restrictions and for residents only. Free on-road parking is available further away from the ground, as little at 20-minutes’ walk away.

Tickets

The away ticket office is located next to the away section.

Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to Ipswich Town by the Brentford box office. Please contact Brentford's box office with any enquiries ahead of the matchday.

Please remember to bring photo ID when you collect your tickets at the ground.

Accessibility

Limited accessible parking is available for free visiting fans in the South stand car park. Contact accessibility@brentfordfc.com to find availability.

Accessible toilets are available in the away section. Here to help stewards will be on site at all times if you need additional support.

Radio headsets are available for fans with visual impairments. If you would like to reserve headsets or you have any special requirements please contact Ipswich’s disability liaison officer on lee.smith@itfc.co.uk or 01473 400556.

Your matchday at Portman Road

The official away pub recommended by Ipswich Town is the Station Hotel, which is directly opposite the train station. There is a garden and you are welcome to head back there after the match to watch the late kick-off on one of their many screens.

Many pubs in the town centre are for home fans only and may refuse entry to away supporters at their own discretion.

The away section is in the Cobbold stand in blocks VU1, VU2, VU3, VL and VA. Turnstiles open approximately 90 minutes prior to kick-off.
