Trent Alexander-Arnold agrees personal terms with Real Madrid | OneFootball

According to a report from journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Trent Alexander-Arnold (26) is set to join Real Madrid in the summer on a free transfer from Liverpool.

The England international is out of contract at his formative club at the end of the season and has been heavily linked with a move to the La Liga giants. He’s one of several key players that Liverpool have been trying to convince to extend their stay beyond their imminent end date, alongside Mohamed Salah (32) and Virgil Van Dijk (33).

However, Tavolieri writes that nothing can convince Alexander-Arnold to remain in Merseyside and in recent weeks his agents (including the player’s brother) have agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.

Alexander-Arnold first broke into the first team in 2016 and since has gone on to win the Champions League in 2018-19, the Premier League in 2019-2020, and also both domestic cups in England.
