Birmingham City performed strongly in the Barclays Women’s Championship in 2024/2025, taking their promotion push right down to the final day of the season. The Blues needed a victory over London City Lionesses in their final game at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park but they fell narrowly short of promotion with the contest ending 2-2. There will now be some changes in playing personnel at the club over the summer with no less than 12 players moving on.

After Birmingham City published their exit list, the club’s Technical Director, Hope Powell said “We would like to thank each player for their contributions during their time at the Club and we wish them every success in their future career moves.”

Further Birmingham City squad news will be announced by the club over the course of the summer.
