Marko Arnautovic scored a volley to open the scoring in last night’s Coppa Italia match between Inter Milan and Lazio.
However, per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, two controversial decisions made by Michael Fabbri cast a shadow on his super strike.
Back to the starting line-up for the first time since a dismal loss in Florence, Marko Arnautovic sent the San Siro into raptures.
Indeed, the 35-year-old beat Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas with a fabulous strike to put Inter 1-0 up at the break.
Afterward, Hakan Calhanoglu put away a legit penalty to put the game to bed in the 77th minute.
Arnautovic’s goal was incredible, to say the least.
Yet, Fabbri refused to award a foul for Lazio, even though Denzel Dumfries held back Nicolo Rovella.

Indeed, the Italian midfielder could’ve blocked Arnautovic’s strike had it not been for Dumfries’ interference.
Moreover, Stefan de Vrij was seemingly offside when the Austrian unleashed the volley, blocking Mandas’ vision.
However, VAR saw no need to intervene.
