“We are not going to give up,” he declared, reminding everyone of the strength that lies within the squad despite the painful setback.

Valverde’s message

Valverde was honest about the emotions he felt after the loss, saying,

“It happened again. And it will surely happen many more times, because this is the path we’re building, and it’s normal for someone to fall after so many kilometres.

“It saddens me, it makes me angry, it makes me feel helpless. I feel like I’m letting them down.” The weight of the defeat was heavy on him, but his words reflected a deep commitment to Real Madrid’s cause.

“It’s been a complicated year, physically and mentally very tough, but one day I was clear: ‘until my legs give out.’

“This club deserves nothing less. We will be back, we will continue, and I’ll be there giving it my all out of respect for Madrid, its people, and everything that comes with playing for the most successful team in history,” he wrote.

Bellingham vows to bounce back

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham also shared his thoughts on the Copa del Rey final through social media, posting a couple of images from the match. Though visibly disappointed, the Englishman showed his determination to push forward.

“I left it all out there, but it was not to be. There are five more finals left, with absolutely everything we have. Hala Madrid until death,” he declared, showing his resolve to keep fighting alongside his teammates.

Both players have made it clear that this defeat will not define their season and that Real Madrid will keep pushing forward, with their eyes firmly set on future challenges.
