La Liga outfit Valencia have early this week been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Hugo Duro has returned to training alongside the rest of the club’s first-team squad.
Frontman Duro was for his part forced to sit out over the weekend, as Valencia climbed out of the La Liga relegation zone courtesy of a victory over Real Valladolid.
As much marked his 2nd successive absence, owing to a muscular injury suffered against Atlético Madrid late last month.
All of a Los Che persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to hear of their side’s attacking star on Tuesday taking a significant step towards a return to the pitch.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Good news for Valencia. Striker Hugo Duro, who had suffered a calf injury, returned to training on the pitch at the Ciudad Deportiva in Paterna on Tuesday.’
The 25-year-old, in turn, looks set to be in contention to play his part against Girona this weekend.
