Cole Palmer scored 4 goals in 4 games yesterday, and once again is the talk of the town.

Just when it looked like he might be giving some other players a chance in the spotlight, following a week where Nicolas Jackson got a lot of praise, Palmer strolled into Stamford Bridge and scored 4 goals in the first half to leave nobody with anything else to talk about.

On Sky Sports today they were discussing him in the same breath as Robin Van Persie and Dennis Bergkamp today. A year ago that would have been insane – now there’s no denying he’s on the right track to be considered with those top Premier League stars one day. His meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down.
